I searched all around but didn't find any pointers about archiving e-mails on DVD / other media. I'd like to take mails from MailArchiva for a period of time and put that on DVD:

1) How to export e-mails from MailArchiva?

2) Is there a way to index all the exported e-mails and make a kind of HTML file / script / Data Index File into the root of the DVD to be able to search mail inside of it? I don't care if this index for a particular DVD would be "hosted" on the Mail Archiva server.

MailArchiva is great but permanent archiving is a must.
